25 years ago, at a small church in Wilson, a young man was inspired to create what would become his church’s first logo t-shirt. With the underlying purpose of selling the shirts and giving all the proceeds to a local missionary family working in Haiti, he solicited donations from local businessmen to cover the printing costs. Finally, with his design in hand, the young man headed to Raleigh to find a screen printer. Three weeks later, 100 fabulous shirts were picked up from the printer and quickly sold at the church. Mission accomplished …

… so we thought. Apparently, that mission had only just begun! Within a few years, we were working in the promotional products industry and owning our own business. Recently, we changed the business name to P23 Shirt Company to bring further clarity to our vision … printing t-shirts and apparel with passion and purpose. 25 years ago, it was one t-shirt to help one missionary family. Today, we are printing from two area production facilities with a global mission of providing humanitarian aid to those in need.
